To Sydney and Madison
Hi Girls,
Thanks for your questions. My favorite thing to do here every day is to walk and pet the lions. We do alot of other things too but that part is the best. It's hard to have a favorite lion because they all have something special about them. The baby cubs are very cute but Meka in particular is a clown. She talks to you every time you walk in by doing this little scratchy roar. She is in the first picture. The other lions that are very friendly are the Tsavo, Thulani and Meggie. They are very used to walking with people and they rub thier head on you just like a cat would except they are big. That is them in the other pictures. I hope you enjoy them.
Bye....Picky

Hi Vicky,
Wow, what an amazing adventure!!! I love reading your stories each day. It's amazing to see how close you are to the animals...what an experience! I'm looking forward to seeing all of the pictures when you get home.
Take care and be safe (watch out for poo!),
Tina
Hi Vicky,
Madison and Sydney love the picture of Meka, both gave resounding "awwwwwwwwwwwww"s - very cute!
The girls have some more questions for you; Sydney wants to know if it's hot there? Madison would like to know if it rains hard?
We love the pictures and reading about your days in Africa.
Take care, love, Madison, Sydney & Julie-Anne
Hi Vicky,
Love reading your stories. It must be so hard to see these kids ,then have to say good-bye, bet you wish you could bring them all home with you? The lions just look like big pussy cats. I so envy you ,what a great way to spend a vacation. Keep up the good work, enjoy and be safe.
Love Mom
Hi Vicky,
I am so jealous. I want to talk to the lions too! Do you have more pictures of the nature that is surrounding you. How does it smell there (not the poop :)?...So that I can completely live it with you.

Hi Sydney and Madison. Right now it's starting to be winter here. It can still be very hot during the day but it's get cool at night. I have to wear sweaters and sometimes a jacket too. During the day it can get very hot so we wear shorts and tank tops. It kind of the same as when we go camping. When it rains here...it rains hard and it gets cool without the sun. i was really cold the other day when we got caught in it and needed a hot shower and a hot tea afterwards.
Thanks for the questions and following along everyday.
